Cold Lake is set to host Feast at the Beach festival this upcoming weekend, August 30th and 31st, at Kinosoo Beach. The event, organized by the Cold Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, aims to provide a family-friendly experience with a mix of food, music, and entertainment right on the shores of Cold Lake. Â
Visitors will have the chance to enjoy a diverse selection of food trucks from across Alberta, offering various culinary delights. The festival features multiple areas for guests to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, including beachside seating, beer gardens, and a dedicated Kid Zone.Â
On Friday, August 31, Travis Dolter will take the stage at 5 p.m., followed by Kyle Mckearney at 7 p.m., and The Irish Descendants closing Friday off at 9 p.m. Saturday, August 31st, will feature Garret Gregory at 7 p.m. and Aaron Goodvin at 9 p.m. Â
The Kid Zone, open on August 30 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on August 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., will offer entertainment for younger attendees with activities such as a fishpond, bouncy castles, roving entertainment, face painting and more. Additionally, a special fireworks display for children is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, with a grand fireworks show at 11 p.m. that evening. Â
With a range of activities and entertainment, Feast at the Beach aims to offer something for everyone, making it a highlight of the summer season in Cold Lake. Â
