Power Engineering Offered at Local High School

Northern Lights School Division is teaming up with Lakeland College to bring 4th Class Power Engineering in Bonnyville at Bonnyville Centralized High School (BCHS). Applications are now being accepted to the class which starts in January, there will be 24 spots available for all students, aged 18-19, from across the Lakeland, not limited to Bonnyville.

Students will spend five hours a day in a classroom completing Lakeland College’s distance learning program with a math and science teacher on hand. BCHS is working with the college so students can complete their steam time at the college’s steam lab in Lloydminster once they have completed the course.
