Lloydminster RCMP investigates home invasion with shorts fired four suspects still at large

On June 11th, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a home invasion report in the area of 39 Street and 57 Avenue. The incident, reported at 7:06 a.m., involved eight individuals and led to an altercation with shots fired. Upon arrival, police secured the area and began their investigation.  

Preliminary information suggests that during the home invasion, an altercation occurred resulting in two individuals sustaining life-threatening injuries. Both individuals are currently receiving medical treatment and are expected to survive.  

The Lloydminster RCMP apprehended four suspects, while four others remain at large and unidentified. Despite the seriousness of the incident, authorities have indicated that there is no ongoing threat to public safety, and the area has been reopened to residents.  

The RCMP is actively seeking assistance from the public to locate witnesses and obtain any video footage that might help the investigation.
