Northern Lights School Division has continued to grow. As the division’s unofficial enrollment numbers recently came out, overall enrollment has increased by over 100 students when compared to 2013. In Cold Lake, Art Smith Aviation Academy has increased its number of students by nearly 80 and Cold Lake Elementary School is up 19 students, while Glendon School is up 15 students. In Lac La Biche, the new J.A. Williams High School and Vera M. Welsh Elementary have both seen a spike in enrollment numbers this year. The official headcount that determines the division’s funding from Alberta Education will be taken on September 30th.
