The Cold Lake Aeros Junior A hockey club is riding high on a wave of success as they celebrate the remarkable achievements of two standout members in the Canadian American Junior Hockey League. Anthony Rizzi has been crowned the Top Forward of the Year, while Ryan Gruszka clinched the Coach of the Year title in the CAJHL. These honors underscore their unwavering commitment, skill, and exceptional performance throughout the season.  

 

“We are absolutely thrilled for Anthony Rizzi and Ryan Gruszka on their well-deserved recognition in the CAJHL,” expressed Axel Axmann, General Manager of the Cold Lake Aeros. “Their contributions to the team have been immeasurable, and we are privileged to have such remarkable individuals as part of our organization.”  

 

Alongside the individual accolades, the Cold Lake Aeros proudly announce their impressive 2nd-place finish in the league standings. As they gear up for the playoffs, the team is set to clash with Vegreville Vipers in an intense best-of-three series commencing on Friday, March 15th.  

 

The playoff showdown will unfold at the Cold Lake Energy Centre, Imperial Oil Arena, with game times locked in for 7:30 M on Friday, and Saturday evenings. Fans are encouraged to rally behind the Cold Lake Aeros as they face the Vegreville Vipers in what promises to be a riveting and spirited playoff battle.
