Busy Weekend for Bonnyville RCMP

On September 15th, 2014 at 7:25 AM, the Bonnyville RCMP received a complaint from Nelson Lumber in Bonnyville, AB reporting a break and enter to their business overnight.  Over $10,000 in damage was done to the building and thousands of dollars worth of tools were stolen.  At 8:05 AM, the Bonnyville RCMP also received a call from Home Hardware in Bonnyville, AB reporting that there was an attempted break and enter to their business overnight however no entry was gained. Damage was done to the front and back doors of the business.
The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment is requesting that anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the east end of Bonnyville on the night of September 14th, 2014 or the early morning hours of September 15th, 2014 or who may know of the suspicious sale of tools to contact the Bonnyville RCMP.
Over the weekend 3 stolen vehicles were reported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment.  Both vehicles were stolen from outside residences located in the town of Bonnyville.  The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment wants to remind residents to lock their vehicles and to take all keys out of vehicles.
The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment in conjunction with St. Paul Traffic Services conducted a traffic initiative in the town of Bonnyville, Ab on Friday September 12th which resulted in 25 violation tickets being written for occupants not wearing seatbelts, 6 for distracted drivers and 3 other infractions.  The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment is reminding the residents to “click it or ticket”.
