A man and a woman from Bonnyville are both facing serious fraud charges.
The RCMP received a tip from a printing firm in Calgary that they had received a suspicious looking order for customized cheques from the area. Through some investigation, police were able to track down the origin of the order and arrested Francis and Daphne Stoyles on possession of forged documents.
A search of the property turned up a large amount of documents relating to fraud and forging cheques. The two are in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
