St. Paul Animal Shelter Seeking Donations for New Building

The St. Paul animal shelter is looking to construct a new building, but they need some help in raising the funds.

The shelter has a gofundme campaign on right now to raise 500,000 dollars to build a new 5,000 square foot shelter from the ground up. So far they’ve raised about 120,000. Manager Charlene WhiskeyJack says people can either donate to the gofundme page or  purchase a plaque to go on the new building’s wall.

The shelter hopes to start work on the new building this spring.
