Influenza Cases Down Sharply in Alberta, North Zone

Cases of influenza are down, way, way down in Alberta this year, and the north zone is no exception.

Only nine cases have been confirmed in the entire region, with just one admitted to hospital. 166 cases have been reported province wide. Compare that to last year which saw over 2,700 cases and the difference is staggering.

Nearly 88,000 Albertans in the North zone have gotten their flu shot and more than a million have across the province.
