Bonnyville residents have been asked to lock their vehicles. More people in the town have seen personal belongings disappear from their vehicles in recent weeks. License plates are being removed, and items such as money, electronics and tools are being taken from inside vehicles, mainly because residents are not locking their doors. Bonnyville RCMP is urging residents to lock their doors and hide all personal belongings when leaving their vehicles unattended. In the past week, the detachment noted an increase in thefts of vehicles as an ATV was reported stolen, along with a motor home, which was later recovered.
