PRESS RELEASE FROM TOWN OF BONNYVILLE
We now know that there are two (2) separate water breaks on the Transmission Lines that fill the Town’s water reservoirs from the Water Treatment Plant. Crews continue to work on repairing both leaks; however, it appears that it will take several more hours to complete. We want to thank residents and businesses for their continued co-operation in reducing water consumption for the rest of Friday and into the weekend. The currentreduction means that unless a further emergency develops, water shut-off for the Town,if required, will not need to occur until Saturday morning.
We will endeavor, through local media, to provide as much notice to residents/businesses as possible should a water shut-off need to be implemented.
Once again, we thank everyone for their continued co-operation by reducing waterconsumption.
