First DUI in Bonnyville Reported by 12:05

Guess how long it took for the Bonnyville RCMP to register their first DUI of 2016. Five minutes.

The Bonnyville RCMP got a request for help from the Cold Lake to detachment to track down a vehicle involved in a hit and run. The driver was found in Bonnyville and pulled over, where he showed visible signs of intoxication and was promptly arrested.

The 32 year old blew more than twice the legal limit on a breathalyzer and will appear in court in Bonnyville on January 26th and in Cold Lake in February.
