Swimmers will be glad to hear Kinosoo Beach is now safe to swim in just in time for summer.
Alberta Health Services have lifted the water quality advisory that was issued June 16, 2023 for the water of Cold Lake at Kinosoo Beach. AHS says the water quality has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes.
As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
