Mary Brown’s Chicken fundraising to help wildfire relief

Bonnyville’s Mary Brown’s Chicken will be participating in the company-wide effort to support the Canadian Red Cross Alberta. 

Until June 16th Mary Brown’s Chicken will be matching guest donations in support of the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Wildfire relief and recovery efforts in all their 40+ stores across Alberta. Patrons are being encouraged to donate $1, $2, or $5 while in-store or through the Mary Brown’s Red Cross fundraising page here. 

Alberta Mary Brown’s stores will match guest donations up to $5,000 and additionally, Mary Brown’s corporate will donate $5,000 to support this important and urgent need. 

Ashleigh Jarvis the owner of the Bonnyville location says she is happy to participate in the fundraising event. 

“As a family and a team, we are very grateful to have the opportunity to help our fellow Albertans. It is wonderful that Mary Brown’s as a franchise is taking on this cause and creating a way for the people in our communities to share their support as well.” 

Jarvis says it is great to be able to support people in need and be a positive influence in the province.
