Bonnyville Library soon to rent out Recreation equipment

Community members will soon be able to access outdoor recreation equipment year-round at the Bonnyville Municipal Library.

The public is welcome to join the Library for the launch on June 8, 2023, at 11 A.M.

The Library received the equipment from the Bonnyville Wellness Coalition as a donation. Right now the Library has basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, and urban walking poles but will expand its collection to include paddle ball and tennis sets, and a family set of snowshoes.

Patrons can borrow the gear for one week using their library cards. Library manager, Nicole Labrie says she hopes the people take advantage of this new equipment.

“Bonnyville is a great place to get outside, no matter what season. We want people to be able to come to the library, grab a basketball, grab a set of tennis rackets, and go hang out with their friends and family outside.”

Library memberships are free so anyone can access the equipment if they sign up.
