A 57-year-old Bonnyville man could be facing some serious consequences on fraud charges.
The Lakeland Credit Union reported that a fraudulent cheque had been deposited at their branch on Christmas Eve and that the client in question would not return their calls. RCMP found him later during a traffic stop where he was promptly arrested. The man was previously known to both the Credit Union and the police. He will appear in court on February 2nd.
