St. Paul RCMP responded to multiple fires

St. Paul Fire Department battled multiple structure fires the past few days and was able to extinguish both. 

On Sunday, May 28 at approximately 9:45 PM. St. Paul Fire Department was called to a mobile home trailer structure fire. Officials initiated a quick attack to extinguish the fire. Firefighters gained entry searching for occupants but at the time of the fire, residents were not present. 

Twenty-two Firefighters responded to the incident, and no injuries were reported. 

The next day on May 29 around 10:35 AM St. Paul Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Township 581, near Range Road 83. Crews found a fully-involved detached garage on fire. Efforts were made to stop the spread to adjacent structures while the power company dealt with downed lines. 

While the fire was extinguished the property and contents were completely consumed by fire. 

Fourteen Firefighters responded, along with St. Paul RCMP, EMS, and Gas and Power Utility Companies. An investigation has deemed the fire intentionally set. 

Anyone with information regarding either fire is asked to contact the St. Paul RCMP Detachment.
