St. Dominic Elementary School brings Frozen Jr to life

St. Dominic Elementary School has just wrapped up its performance of Frozen Jr. 

The school students, teachers, parents, and other dedicated staff and community members worked on the performance for over four months. The opening night was on May 24 followed by a second performance on the 25th. 

St. Dominic Elementary School Principal Jacqueline Densmore says the opening night was a big achievement for the students. 

“The gymnasium was buzzing with anticipation as community members, proud families, and enthusiastic staff members filled the seats, eagerly awaiting the show to begin. The atmosphere was electric.”

Community members sang along with families and staff members watching with pride and joy. 

“From the moment the curtains opened, the audience was captivated. The performers effortlessly exemplified their characters, their voices resonated with emotion and talent. The energy and passion radiating from the stage were contagious, as the audience was captivated by the dazzling costumes, amazing sets, and impressive choreography.” 

Densmore says the performers got standing ovations and the opening night will be remembered as a truly special occasion, where the collective efforts of the students, volunteers, family, and staff came together to create a truly unforgettable experience.  

“It showcased the power of the arts to bring people together, to inspire, and to create lasting memories.”
