St. Paul RCMP arrest two people after break in to Kings Motel

St. Paul RCMP was called to a break-in in progress at the Kings Motel. 

When police arrived on the scene a 51-year-old male who appeared to have been stabbed numerous times. Emergency medical treatment was administered on the scene and later transported by STARS to Edmonton for further medical treatment. 

28-year-old Shaquille Steinhauer of Saddle Lake First Nations and 34 year old Alex Buffalo of Wetaskiwin are facing five charges including aggravated assault, robbery with a weapon, and breaking and entering. 

Steinhauer was released from custody after a Judicial Interim Release hearing with the Court set for June 1st, 2023. Buffalo was released from custody after a Judicial Interim Release hearing with the Court set for June 8th, 2023.
