Ashley Nicole Jorgenson has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
The thirty-two year old managed to commit nearly 20,000 dollars in fraud with stolen or fake credit cards. A total of 18 businesses -mostly in the Lakeland but elsewhere in Alberta as well- were scammed.
Including time already served, Jorgenson has two years and 46 days left in her sentence. She has also been ordered to pay nearly 7000 dollars in restitution to seven of the affected businesses.
