St. Paul RCMP investigating shooting

St. Paul RCMP was called to a shooting in Whitefish Lake on March 15 and RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating a suspect’s vehicle.

RCMP received the call at about 6:10 p.m. and is looking for public assistance in locating a suspect vehicle that fled from police at the Spedden store, shortly after the shooting. The vehicle is described as:

  • Grey or silver Chevrolet pick-up
  • Extended cab
  • Missing handle on tailgate
  • Tires in box of truck
  • 2 occupants

RCMP says the victim is currently being treated for gunshot wounds but his condition is unknown at this time.

Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to not approach the occupants and call 911 immediately.
