On October 18, around 8:15 a.m. Bonnyville RCMP got a call from a community member near Highway 881 saying three suspicious individuals had a U-Haul and were possibly stealing fuel.
The U-Haul had left the scene while RCMP was en-route but was later found on Highway 660 near Franchere.
While interacting with the occupants RCMP members found a Crossbow and firearms case resulting in all three suspects being arrested without incident.
