St Paul RCMP responded to 213 calls for service

Over the last week, the St Paul RCMP has responded to 213 calls for service. 

Among the 213 calls RCMP responded to the following:

  • 59 mischief calls
  • 17 assaults
  • 13 suspicious person/vehicles
  • 12 thefts
  • seven break and enters
  • seven mental health calls
  • six missing persons
  • three theft of vehicles
  • two sexual assaults
  • two discharge firearm with intent
  • one arson

St. Paul RCMP responded to a call at the Saddle Lake Ambulance Bay on October 8th at approximately 10:00 p.m. to assist with a male who had a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He has been airlifted to Edmonton to treat injuries while the matter is under investigation.

Between October 7 and October 10, the St. Paul RCMP also participated in an impaired driving initiative “Operation Impact”. During this initiative, 30 vehicles were stopped between three check stops, resulting in two impaired charges.
