The residents of Lac La Biche County can express their feedback on lowering speed limits.
The County is looking at the idea of reducing the speed limit in residential areas of hamlets and has set up a survey for the public to weigh their opinions.
The survey can be accessed through the link right here. It consists of 4 quick questions such as where you live and if you would be in favor of reducing the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h.
The survey will close on October 28th.
Cold Lake Council also brought up the idea of a speed limit reduction and asked residents for their feedback in a survey. 54 percent of respondents in the Cold Lake survey said there was no speeding issue while 46 percent said that they felt that there was a speeding issue.
Cold Lake residents preferred an increased amount of enforcement rather than a change in speed.
