Cold Lake Mosque Vandalized… Again

Over the weekend, in a case of the worst kind of deja vu someone wrote the words “go home” on the front door of the Cold Lake mosque. The suspect didn’t stop with the mosque though, an ATM at the nearby CIBC branch was also hit as well with the words “Catch me if you can” written on it with what appeared to be the same orange marker.

Fortunately, like last year’s incident, there is a silver lining. Someone left a box of muffins outside the mosque the next day with a hand written note, addressed “to our Muslim Friends and Neighbours.”

RCMP are reviewing video surveillance from multiple locations to identify the culprit.
