n honour of family violence prevention month, the Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre held a candle light vigil for victims of domestic abuse outside its facilities Monday.
Cold Lake victim services, the Cold Lake RCMP and Mayor Craig Copeland were among those who attended the ceremony. Several survivors of abuse gave testimonies to the help they got from the Crisis Centre and Outreach worker Katie Walker gave a moving speech.
The centre will also be hosting a festival of peace this Saturday. More info on that on our  events calendar.
