Elk Point is working with several neighbouring communities, including the town and county of St. Paul to secure Alberta Community Partnership Grants, specifically those for Regional Occupational Health and Safety.
This endeavour is also part of a massive emergency manual the communities are working on, which will detail the appropriate response to virtually any kind of disaster that could hit the Lakeland.
