M.D. Public Safety Officers keep busy

Now that the Truck Check Initiative has been completed, Municipal District Bonnyville Patrol Officers are now able to focus on their regular duties.

Public Safety has been receiving multiple of complaints regarding barking dogs and dogs at large, especially in hamlet areas. Officers have also been checking out different bus routes each morning shift to ticket drivers who fail to stop for the red flashing bus lights.

In preparation for the spring road bans, Industry Officers completed a week of training in Leduc County on the use of portable scales.

The calibration of the scales was also confirmed and certified. One of the M.D. Officers has been designated and registered as an instructor to be able to train and qualify new staff on the proper use of the scales.
