St. Paul Education Regional Division stands to lose a million dollars in funding due to a decline in enrollment.
130 fewer students are attending school in town this year. The division plans to make up for the shortfall through measures such as a hiring freeze. Fortunately the division has a large reserve of money to draw from that should take most of the blow.
