The Cold Lake FCSS along with the local food bank says the first annual “Great Turkey Race” was successful enough to feed hundreds of families this year. The campaign says they’ve hit and exceeded their goal of 400 donated turkeys.
Donations of turkeys were accepted by the FCSS on behalf of the local food banks’ Christmas Hamper project. The FCSS says over 450 families will get a turkey dinner this year because of the donations.
