A Saddle Lake man has been arrested after leading Lakeland RCMP on their second high-speed chase in five days. Thomas Jackson was arrested on October 12th. He faces charges of impaired driving, dangerous driving, flight from police and a variety of other driving related offences. Jackson picked up a hitchhiker before the chase began, reaching speeds up to 150 kilometres an hour. Police deployed a spike strip to stop the vehicle. Three other occupants were arrested along with Jackson. The hitchhiker was let go.
