The RCMP is focusing on seatbelt safety this month.
The police are asking drivers to ask themselves, “What’s holding me back?” Research has shown time and time again that wearing a seatbelt increases the chances of surviving an accident significantly.
In 2013, 65 Alberta drivers died in accidents while not wearing a seatbelt.
