The town of Elk Point’s holiday trailer bylaw is being more heavily enforced.
The bylaw has been in place for several years now to govern where holiday RV and utility trailers can park. A number of trailers have been illegally parked on public streets for an extended period of time, prompting council to more strictly enforce the existing law.
Illegally parked owners will receive a warning first before being fined. Council is currently reviewing the bylaw to see if it needs to be updated, but will be enforcing the bylaw as it stands until then.
