Local Fashion Designer Wins Contest, Awarded Launch of Own Fashion Line.

A Lakeland Fashion Designer has been given the opportunity of a lifetime to launch her own line of clothing.

Cassandra Newton placed first in the emerging designer competition at Western Canada Fashion Week. This was her second go at the competition, having finished third in March, but she came back better than ever.

Newton will get to début her fashion line at the next West Coast Fashion Week next March.
