RCMP arrest men after drug tip

A tip led RCMP to a drug house in Bonnyville.

After obtaining a search warrant Wednesday officers arrested one man who was leaving the residence in a car, and arrested another two men when they entered the house.

RCMP seized over 17 thousand dollars worth of drugs including 1100 grams of pot, magic mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, cell phones and 6 unsecured firearms with over 3200 rounds of ammunition. Officers also seized five thousand dollars in cash. Two Bonnyville men, ages 26 and 23 will face charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and weapons related offences.

They are scheduled to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court February 5th.

The third man was released without charges.
