The MD of Bonnyville has confirmed that a second case of Clubroot has been found in a local canola field.
The second case was found in the same area as the first. The MD will be notifying nearby producers of the discovery later this week.
The MD plans to consult with local farmers after harvest about what bylaws and restrictions they would like to see put in place in order to prevent the disease’s spread.
