The City of Cold Lake has finished renovating the final two parks in its park replacement program.
For the past several years, the city has been allocating 80,000 dollars a year to replacing local playgrounds with brand new equipment. Last week’s completion of the Dogwood and Evergreen parks in the 4 wing area marks the final locations to be upgraded.
The new parks have plenty of fun new features, such as a new wave slide, pebble path and several climbing areas shaped like animals.
