Provincial Finance Minister Hints at Highway 28 Funding

Highway 28 might receive provincial funding in the next budget.

Provincial Finance Minister Joe Ceci was in Cold Lake last week for the mid sized cities caucus. While he was here he hinted that the road might finally receive some much needed improvements.

Ceci specifically mentioned Highway 28 as an example of infrastructure projects the NDP will likely invest in to stimulate the economy in their upcoming budget.

The Minister also announced the provincial government's intention to implement programs and projects aimed at helping small and mid-sized businesses.
