Man Arrested After Hwy 28 Collision

A man has been arrested in the aftermath of a four vehicle collision on Highway 28 near Cold Lake.

Investigators conclude that a north bound car side swiped a truck, then veered into the oncoming lane crashing into a van. Another car then rear ended the van. Police arrested the driver of the car at the scene. Drugs and/or alcohol have not been ruled out as a factor.

The driver of the van was sent to the hospital with minor injuries. The rest were released from the scene.
