Cold Lake continues to move ahead in giving the Energy Centre more than a few new additions.
Design plans for phase III were submitted to city council during the September 8th meeting. Plans include a brand new arena, a new field house and a completely renovated front entrance.
The city is taking a slightly unconventional approach to the project though, going with design build tender. Meaning the design is already in place and companies will bid on constructing it. Mayor Craig Copeland explains
The cost is currently estimated at 29 and a half million dollars.
