“Pack the PC” nets two trucks full of donations

Bonnyville mounties say their weekend “Cram the Cruiser” event was another big success. RCMP members along with other law enforcement officers were outside the Sobeys on Saturday looking for donations to fill up their two police trucks.

Bonnyville RCMP Staff Sergeant Sarah Parke says the final number of donations include over 3000 pounds of food, $400 in cash donations and around $700 in grocery gift cards that will all be donated to the food bank this holiday season.

This was the second time the RCMP in Bonnyville has hosted the event. The mounties are thanking everyone who took the time to donate.
