La Corey last stop on MD budget open houses

Monday evening is the last chance on the schedule for MD of Bonnyville residents to voice their concerns around the 2020 budget. The MD is hosting the last of three open houses, this time in La Corey.

The Willow Prarie Hall will play host to a break down of where tax dollars are headed starting at 7 PM. MD staff will also be on hand to take questions and hear input.

Open houses have already been hosted in Ardmore and Glendon. The MD says it’s taking the feedback back to council chambers before it gives the OK to the 2020 financial plan.

The first draft of the 2020 operating budget for the MD is expected to cost around $85 million.
