LLB county parts ways with CAO

Lac La Biche County is parting ways with its Chief Administrative Officer. The county says during their council meeting November 5th they voted in favour of terminating the employment of Shadia Amblie.

“Council believed that a change in leadership was necessary,” said Mayor Omer Moghrabi. “I would like to thank Ms. Amblie for her years of service not only as Chief Administrative Officer but also as a municipal employee. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”

County council says Dan Small has been named as Interim CAO. All projects and programs that were on the go are still green-lighted.

Amblie had been working as CAO with the county since 2015.
