LLB mounties looking for wanted Edmonton man

Mounties in Lac La Biche are asking people to be on the lookout for an Edmonton man wanted in connection to an incident which saw a woman severely injured. Edmonton police say 52-year-old Barton Lohouse has warrants for his arrest after an October 18th incident in the city.

Police say they were called out after a woman was found slashed in the neck on the sidewalk outside of her house by a neighbour. She remains in hospital in stable condition with life-threatening injuries.

Lohouse now faces charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault and is believed to be in the Lac La Biche area. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. He is described as 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 170 lbs. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who may know where he is should not approach him but instead call your local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
