Conservative Party member David Yurdiga looks to be marching his way to Ottawa again. Unofficial results from the 2019 federal election have him taking the riding of Fort McMurray -Cold Lake.
This is the second win for Yurdiga in the riding. He was also elected in the 2015 election. He was named to the seat back in 2014 after a by-election to replace Brian Jean, who stepped down and eventually became the leader of the provincial Wildrose Party.
Yurdiga was born in Lac La Biche. He lists his profession as both “farmer” and “business owner” on his parliamentary page.
