Man facing charges after test drive sexual assault: Cold Lake RCMP

A Fort Kent man is facing charges after Cold Lake mounties say he sexually assaulted a female worker at a car dealership. The RCMP says the incident occurred on October 4th.

The suspect is said to have taken a car for a test drive from a Cold Lake dealership. It was on that drive where the victim says she was taken to a secluded spot and sexually assaulted.

55-year-old Glen Bringleson was later charged after a search warrant was executed on his home. Police say they have seized some of his electronic devices.

Bringleson now faces charges including sexual assault and forcible confinement. He has since been released on bail with conditions and is due to make an appearance in a Cold Lake courtroom on October 23rd.

The RCMP say they have talked with local car dealerships in the area. Cold Lake RCMP Victim Services is assisting in the investigation as well.
