Mounties in Bonnyville say a three-month investigation into the trafficking of drugs in the area has resulted in arrests. Police say they executed four search warrants on October 12th in Bonnyville, Ardmore and two different locations in Cold Lake.

The team of RCMP members from both Bonnyville and Cold Lake say they found 170 grams of suspected cocaine as well as packaging materials and other paraphernalia. A 40 calibre handgun was also seized.

24-year-old Jordan Cyris Crook-Lombe and Malik Kenton Lloyd Weir, both of Edmonton, along with 33-year-old Terrance Ryan Janvier of La Loche, Saskatchewan and 32-year-old Tiffany Rae Lynn Granbois(Lewis) of Cold Lake now face a variety of charges including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

A 49-year-old woman from Cold Lake will also see charges laid. Her name is withheld because those charges have not been sworn in as of yet.
