Mounties in Bonnyville say a shotgun and some stolen items have been recovered after a search warrant in the area. Police say they found the items after arresting a 19-year-old suspect on October 6th.
Mounties are charging the suspect with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
He has since been released by the police and will make his first appearance in a Bonnyville courtroom on October 22nd.
