Liberals Select Candidate for Lakeland

The Liberal Party of Canada has announced their candidate  in the Lakeland riding for the upcoming election. 

Garry Parenteau lives on the Fishing Lake Metis Settlement, where he serves as its Oil & Gas Director. He has also served as Chairperson of the settlement, Vice President of the Metis Settlements General Council and as the representative of the Metis General Council to Parliament from 2004 to 2011.

Parenteau says he is excited to be running for M.P and that his nomination had the highest turnout of Liberal members the Lakeland has seen in years.
