Time is running out for Lakeland voters to cast an early ballot in this year’s federal election. Advanced polls were open across the region over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Voters can still cast a ballot at Elections Canada offices until 6 PM on Tuesday evening. Votes can also be sent in by mail as long as the voter is registered to send it that way by the Tuesday deadline.
As for everyone else, polls will open up on October 21st for election day. More information on the election is available on the Elections Canada website.
